A BRITISH bridegroom was killed by a shark off an idyllic honeymoon island yesterday - as the horrified bride he wed 11 days ago looked on.
Ian Redmond, 30, was attacked in shallow water 100ft off a Seychelles beach.
Bride Gemma, 27, from Wigan, was sunbathing and heard him shout "Help, help" as the Bull shark savaged him. He suffered horrific injuries as the monster tore huge chunks of flesh from his body.
Today, in an emotional tribute to her dead husband, Gemma said they had been "having so much fun" on their dream honeymoon in the Indian Ocean archipelago.
She added: "Myself, our families and our friends aredevastated and shocked by what has happened. The loss of Ian has left a gapinghole in our hearts that will never be filled.
